ACM-PLUS-7000

The improved Acoustic Current Meter from Falmouth Scientific, Inc. provides extremely accurate (user selectable) 2- or 3-dimensional velocity measurements in a defined free field. The ACM-PLUS uses the most accurate and stable current measurement techniques available today and is configured with standard features that are options on competitive instruments, such as extended on-board data memory, fast download capability, high-precision real-time clock, and high-speed data sampling. The instrument incorporates an internal compass and tilt sensors to provide true vectorial current direction. The compact size and light weight of the unit make the ACM-PLUS suitable for a variety of meter arrays. Windows-based software for meter configuration, data collection, and data visualization makes the FSI ACM-PLUS very easy to use.
ACM-WAVE-PLUS

The ACM-WAVE-PLUS from Falmouth Scientific, Inc. provides wave direction, wave height, and other wave statistics by combining FSI’s enhanced ACM-PLUS acoustic current meter technology with a high-precision micromachined silicon pressure sensor. The instrument can be deployed in a multi-mode format to enable periodic burst sampling of wave data as well as long-term averaging. WAVE-TIDE-PLUS

The FSI WAVE-TIDE-PLUS is a cost-effective wave and tide monitor, combining a highly stable pressure sensor and state-of-the-art electronics to achieve unprecedented levels of accuracy and stability. The sampling rate is selectable (1 to 5 Hz), which allows the user to acquire precise point spectra of waves. The pressure sensor output can also be integrated to obtain water level measurements unaffected by wave action. With 16 GB of onboard flash data memory, the WAVE-TIDEPLUS can retain the large amounts of data required for highly detailed wave characterization.
