Available with two attachment methods and sized to fit any cable, these floats are some of the most versatile flotation products available, with depth ratings up to 6,000 m. Learn more about our Quick-Loc™ hinge and latch system for frequent deployment and retrieval.
Marker Floats

Rugged and highly visible, our marker floats are used in ROV and survey operations worldwide. A strong, rotomolded outer shell resists damage to the DeepTec™ syntactic foam core, even during the most aggressive handling.

Instruments Collars
Designed for long-term submersion, our instrument collars provide years of reliable service and stand up to rough handling during operations. Each produces the buoyant force needed for rapid ascent and positive recovery without compromising instrument performance. From shallow water surveys to ultra-deep positioning, you can count on these collars to help ensure overall success in the field.

HardBall™ Floats
HardBall™ Floats provide distributed buoyancy for cable distribution, marine and oceanographic applications. They are available in a variety of sizes and depth ratings. Unlike glass balls or hollow plastic floats, HardBall™ Floats will not leak or implode. Only DeepTec™ epoxy-based syntactic foams are used to form the core – no macrospheres or other high-hazard materials.
Modular Buoy Systems

Modular buoys are the most versatile approach for marine applications. They are offered in a variety of standard sizes with buoyancy capacities up to 10 tons and depth ratings of 3,000 meters or more. Whether installing pipe sleds, jumpers or hanging moorings, this multi-functional product offers a straightforward way to meet buoyancy requirements.

To complement our DeepTec™ line of syntactic foams, we also produce a wide range of deep submersion polyurethane products. Custom fastening solutions, protective coatings and flexible cable products can be molded to any size or durometer.
Polyurethane Elastomer Products
ROV Flotation

We provide high-quality flotation for marine, drilling, commercial and military vehicles. AML-1

The AML-1 is a single sensor probe with flexibility in data acquisition. AML’s modular approach to sensor installation means that a single AML-1 can be used to collect conductivity, sound velocity, turbidity, pH or any other desired parameter. The AML-1 has a sensor port on the cover. Some sensors, such as the CT and SVT, are dual parameter. This means that in fixed depth applications, the AML-1 can be used to measure CT and calculate salinity and density.
AML-3

The AML-3 is one of the most versatile multi-sensor oceanographic instruments currently available. The AML-3 has three sensor ports on the cover; the sensor payload is modular and can be swapped in the field to meet project requirements. Some sensors, such as the CT and SVT, are dual-parameter, allowing direct measurement of up to four distinct parameters from the instrument cover. In addition, the AML-3 calculates salinity and density.
AML-6

The AML-6 is a multiparameter sonar designed to combine CTD data with other oceanographic parameters such as dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP or fluorometric sensors. This instrument has six sensor ports on the cover; the sensor payload is modular and can be swapped in the field to meet project requirements. The AML-6 can be equipped with UV biofouling control, ensuring data quality and extended maintenance-free periods without contaminating the oceans with TBT or other harmful chemicals.
