ADCP Spherical Buoys
Manufactured from high-performance DeepTecTM syntactic foam and equipped with 316L titanium and stainless steel hardware, ADCP ball buoys are designed to outperform and outperform conventional mooring buoyancy. Available in depth ratings from 200m to 6000m, they require minimal maintenance and are extremely durable in the most rigorous deepwater conditions.
ADCP Elliptical Buoys
These buoys feature the same robust design as spherical buoys, but with an elliptical shape for higher current applications. Available with depth ratings from 200m to 6000m.
StableMoor ADCP Buoys
For more extreme current applications, we have the StableMoor™ line of buoys. These unique ADCP buoys are customized for your specific application. Accounting for depth, instrument types, and currents, this design will give you stable data in choppy waters.
Cages for ADCPs
Our in-house metal engineering and fabrication capabilities can identify a standard frame for your application or customize one to meet your needs. Working in stainless steel, aluminum or titanium, we can align your frames.
Background Support
If your project requires seabed mounting, whether for a medium or high frequency ADCP, we can accommodate your needs. These diver-friendly units can be manufactured to accept your ADCP, battery, CTD, acoustic modem or other instrument.
Anti-Drag Supports (TRBMs)
These mounts can be deployed by freefall, by a diver or by an ROV. They feature a dual-axis gimbal within a buoyant recovery capsule, and are designed to allow recovery of all mounted instruments. An optional Spectra package can be supplied for recovery of the base for rotating installations. Our TRBMs are available in depths of over 500 meters. We also offer disposable concrete bases.

Hydro-Float™
DeepWater Buoyancy’s subsurface buoys are more versatile and reliable than conventional floats. These buoys can be molded with cross holes and instrumentation pockets on any axis without compromising their strength due to their solid construction. Clamps and mounting hardware can be added for any user-supplied instrumentation.
Cable Floats
Hydrodynamic cable floats provide low-drag, distributed flotation for a variety of marine, commercial, military and oceanographic applications. Available with two attachment methods and sized to fit any cable, these floats are some of the most versatile flotation products available, with depth ratings up to 6,000 m. Marker Floats

HardBall™ Floats
HardBall™ Floats provide distributed buoyancy for cable distribution, marine and oceanographic applications. They are available in a variety of sizes and depth ratings. Unlike glass balls or hollow plastic floats, HardBall™ Floats will not leak or implode. Only DeepTec™ epoxy-based syntactic foams are used to form the core – no macrospheres or other high-hazard materials.
Modular Buoy Systems
Modular buoys are the most versatile approach for marine applications. They are offered in a variety of standard sizes with buoyancy capacities up to 10 tons and depth ratings of 3,000 meters or more.
